The first day of the SITUATE Art in Festivals lab was spent presenting ourselves to the other artists, provocateurs and people of Hobart in a Pecha Kucha. I kept a journal during the lab and I described my anxiety before presenting as 'a potato sack of nerves'. Perhaps I was taken in by the store room aesthetic of the Founders Room at Salamanca Arts.
I'm super exicited to announce I've been selected to attend the SITUATE Art in Festivals arts lab. The lab takes place at Salamance Arts Centre in Hobart from 21 June to 5 July. Along with 15 other artists we'll undergo a range of workshops in preparation to propose work for WomAdelaide, DarkMofo, MonaFoma, Darwin Festival, Fringe World Perth, Harvest Festival and Vryfees Festival South Africa.
